Chelford Farm Horse Camps

If our schedule permits we can arrange other camp dates.
Chelford Farm Summer Camps are tailored to the skill levels of the participants. We work
closely with parents and trainers to pinpoint needs in the individual rider’s program and
then focus on these areas. The maximum number of riders in any one camp session is
six. This allows us to give each participant as much individual attention as possible.
Our Camps stress: safety, skill development, enjoyment of the rural natural setting and
love of the horse.
Training sessions are taught by Claire Scholly. Claire has been eventing since she was 9
an started showing jumpers several years ago. She is currently teaching lessons and
training horses/ponies.
Other activities include: trail rides, a confidence course, mounted games, crafts, swimming
and an evening meal and walk in historic Madison.
COST: $350 This includes accommodations (air conditioned apartment), three home
cooked meals each day, stabling and shavings.
We have several horses that can be used for camp if you aren't able to bring your own. It is
an additional $50 for using one of our horses. When you sign up we will e-mail additional
details and a list of what your child will need to bring.
